United Way's Local Community Fund
United Way’s Local Community Fund includes all contributions that are not otherwise specifically directed by donors. If you contribute to United Way’s Local Community Fund, your donation enjoys the added benefit of oversight by dedicated volunteers and professional staff who work year-round to:
- Assess needs
- Respond for the greatest impact
- Monitor and measure results
*Grantee Agencies
“Grantee agencies” are local nonprofits that run one or more of the 102 programs funded by United Way of Snohomish County. We do not charge our affiliates to be partners of United Way of Snohomish County.
**Donor-designated Gifts
Donor-designated gifts are sent to various charitable organzations as directed by the donor. United Way provides this service to donors, but does not monitor or oversee the use of these donations.

* Although there appears to be a deficit for this fiscal year, our $800,000 annual corporate gift from Boeing was received after the fiscal year was closed. It is by far our largest corporate gift and we appreciate the many years of support offered by Boeing and its employees to Snohomish County.
