United Way of Snohomish County is requesting proposals for grants
from established nonprofit organizations in the health and human
service area.
Last year, United Way of Snohomish County awarded approximately
$4 million in grants to 48 nonprofit human service organizations with
more than 100 programs serving residents of Snohomish County.
Grants are awarded through the Program Grant process on a t
hree-year cycle.
To be eligible for a 2007-2010 Program Grant, an organization must be registered as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit and meet minimum eligibility standards and submit all required documentation. Grants are not open to individuals, government agencies, educational organizations or for capital projects. Letters of intent to apply must be submitted by January 31 in order to pre-qualify. Proposals are due Tuesday, March 6.
