Everett—United Way of Snohomish County announces the election
John Dickson, CEO of Frontier Bank as 2007 Campaign Chair and
ex officio member on the Board of Directors, and of Buzz Rodland to
the Board of Directors.

Dickson assumed the role as CEO of Frontier Bank in 2003 and President and CEO of Frontier Financial Corporation in 2006. He is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound (1982) with a BA in Business and Economics. Dickson and Frontier Bank are longtime supporters of United Way. Dickson serves on the Finance Committee and served on the 2006 Campaign Strategy Team. Frontier Bank recently received the prestigious President’s Award from United Way for best annual workplace campaign in 2006. As Campaign Chair, he
will oversee 2007 campaign, which annually raises approximately $10 million for charitable organizations, with a special focus on local health and human services.

Rodland is President of Rodland Toyota, one of the oldest Toyota dealerships in the United States. Rodland encourages his employees to support their community in a variety of ways, including participation in the annual United Way campaign and through United Way’s Day of Caring.  Rodland is active in various auto dealers’ associations, the local Rotary, Chamber and other civic and community organizations. Rodland will serve as a United Way board member through June 2009.
