Volunteer registration is now open for United Way’s Days of Caring, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 18 and 19 at sites around Snohomish County.
Teams and individuals can go online now to find projects, which are being added to daily. Hands-on projects include painting, building, cleaning, environmental projects and reading to kids.
Agencies can register their 2009 Days of Caring projects through Aug. 15. Volunteers may register through the end of August.
Last year, Days of Caring volunteers logged 3,237 hours worth approximately $63,000. They also showed community spirit and built teamwork while lending a much-needed hand to nonprofit agencies.
