Endowment Fund
United Way of Snohomish County's endowment was established to:
- Enable United Way of Snohomish County to further its mission.
- Provide a stable source for dollars to support community-building projects and lead community initiatives.
- Provide a buffer against the impact of cyclic economic downturns.
- Grow United Way of Snohomish County's capacity to find long-term solutions and prevention strategies, improving people's lives in Snohomish County
Many United Way donors choose to endow or fund their annual gift past their lifetimes. In general it takes a commitment 20 times your annual gift to "endow" a gift. This means a $20,000 gift in your will can generate and replace an annual gift of $1,000 to United Way. Donors have the option of fund choices.
