Proposals for the July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2010 program grant
cycle were due March 6, 2007.

All proposals must be submitted through United Way’s online application system. Written proposals will not be accepted. Proposals are reviewed in March and April, and selected grantees are announced in June. Grants are not awarded for capital projects or expenditures.

Grant selection is highly competitive. United Way of Snohomish County receives a wide range of worthy proposals from local community
programs throughout our county. Grant recipients are selected by
United Way Vision Council volunteers on how effectively their services
align with Vision Council community outcomes and on the strength of
their outcome-based evaluation systems.

To apply for a 2007-2010 program grant, you must first pre-qualify by submitting a Letter of Intent to Apply for Program Grants. Applicants
must use the downloadable form on the United Way web site for this purpose. Eligibility standards and documentation requirements must
be met as part of this pre-qualification process. In addition, applicants must be willing to comply with grantee expectations should they receive
a program grant from United Way. Please review these standards and expectations by reading the program grant Eligibility, Pre-qualification Documentation and Grantee Expectations information found on the
United Way web site. Letters of intent should only be submitted by organizations who meet all the minimum standards for these grants. Letters are due to United Way of Snohomish County no later than
January 31st.

Once letters of intent are reviewed, qualified organizations will be notified that they are eligible to continue the application process. This notification will include online system User ID and Password information.

Once notified, organizations can register for application training by using the downloadable Training Registration Form on the United Way web site.
This training covers important elements of the application process, materials, and online system. Attendance to training is recommended
but is not required.
