United Way invites all high school students in Snohomish County to participate in the Day of Caring design contest. The winning artwork
will be featured on 1,200 T-shirts and in publicity materials to promote
this annual, community-wide event that brings together more than 1,000 volunteers each fall.
Volunteers from businesses, schools, families and neighborhoods
work at more than 60 projects such as painting, landscaping, building playgrounds, reading to children and helping seniors with home
projects. The winning artwork will convey this spirit. The winning student will receive a $100 gift certificate for art supplies, free T-shirts and more!
Artwork by the winner and finalists will also be displayed at the Spirit of Snohomish County Breakfast on September 7. The deadline for submissions is April 28, 2006.
