Days of Caring
United Way of Snohomish County’s annual Days of Caring is a community-wide event benefiting nonprofit agencies in Snohomish County. Each year, Days of Caring brings together volunteers committed to creating positive change in the lives of children, families, and seniors.
Volunteer teams, organized primarily by local companies, complete projects for local nonprofit agencies that often lack the necessary resources to tackle such important initiatives themselves.
In 2011, twelve hundred sets of helping hands volunteered 6,500 hours benefiting 68 projects from Snohomish County nonprofits. Their volunteer work was valued at a total of $138,000!
