United Way to host in-person fundraiser & luncheon

United Way of Snohomish County (UWSC) will be hosting their “United More than Ever” fundraiser and sit-down luncheon on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Hotel Indigo at the Everett Waterfront. The event marks the first in-person fundraiser for the organization since before the COVID-19 pandemic. Nancy Pearl, librarian, best-selling author, literary critic & former Executive Director of the Washington Center for the Book at Seattle Public Library joins as Keynote Speaker.

Funds from the event will go towards existing community partnerships, which center around removing barriers that trap Snohomish County families in poverty, while also allowing UWSC to expand programs and initiatives within the community. Tickets for the event are available for $25 per individual, and $225 for a table, which includes 10 seats to the event.

“This event gives us a chance to not only reconnect with our community in person again, but the support helps us to continue to fund important initiatives,” said Craig Chambers, president and chief executive officer of UWSC. “We look forward to bringing more visibility to the needs within Snohomish County, and the ways that United Way, alongside our collaborative partners, are tackling them.”

Chambers invites all community members and businesses to attend. Tickets are currently on sale and are available online by visiting www.uwsc.org/unitedmorethanever. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, by contacting Director of Development, Elizabeth Gromko, at elizabeth.gromko@uwsc.org

Donations for those who cannot attend can be made online at www.uwsc.org/give.
