United Way of Snohomish County’s annual community event, CORE Perspectives, took place on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. at the Orca Ballroom of Tulalip Resort Casino.
The event was headlined by guest speaker, Connie Collingsworth, Chief Business Operations Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, who spoke to how the foundation has been innovative with their philanthropic dollars over the years. It also hosted a panel of partners from each of United Way’s CORE Collaboratives to give the community a chance to hear more about the extraordinary work and progress this new model has made over the last year.
