Day of Caring, held on Friday, Sept. 28, is United Way of Snohomish County’s annual event that brings together hundreds of volunteers who are committed to creating positive change in our community. Volunteer teams complete projects for local nonprofit agencies that often lack the necessary resources to tackle this work themselves.
This year, many projects helped families with young children struggling to get by, including a few projects from our CORE Collaboratives like Casino Road and Homeward House, pictured here. There were 29 total projects in communities across Snohomish County.
