  • Innovation
Continually searching for and catalyzing ideas and breakthrough solutions.
  • Measurable Outcomes
Beginning with the end in mind.

United Way of Snohomish County is moving beyond its traditional role of simply being a fundraiser to being a funder, partner, convener, and catalyst for positive, lasting community change.

We’re the only organization in Snohomish County that is both a funder and an active partner in five CORE Collaboratives – groups of cross-sector partners focused on shared, long-term solutions for families struggling to get by. Unlike other approaches, CORE gives voice to the whole family, making it easier for children birth to age 8 and the adults in their lives to find success together.

CORE: Creating Open Roads to Equity is a collaborative approach that removes barriers to help families escape the traps of poverty. Our CORE work is focused on children birth to age 8 because of the profound benefits of early learning and development in young children.

We believe collaborative solutions for both children and the adults in their lives has the greatest potential to not only meet the needs of families today, but will support the success of the whole family for generations to come.

We transform lives by bringing people, resources, and strategy together to solve our community's toughest challenges.

We envision a community where all families have access to opportunity for generations to come.
